El país semanal  publicaba el domingo pasado (01-04-2012) una entrevista muy interesante a un reconocido -y muy lúcido- psiquiatra español: Manuel Gómez-Beneyto. Dejo aquí algunas perlas: " ¿En psiquiatría hay modas?  Sí, pero siempre tienen una justificación. Hace tiempo se creó un interés sorprendente por la timidez, que nunca había sido objeto de la psiquiatría, y fue porque una farmacéutica vio que había un nicho de mercado interesante. Se montaron congresos y se generó una nueva demanda. Con fin económico. Sí, por ejemplo, recientemente se está recetando en exceso medicamentos a niños y creo que esto responde en parte también a intereses de la industria farmacéutica. Para hacer esto se necesita la colaboración de un sector de la profesión que se presta por razones obvias: económicas, de poder y prestigio. ¿Se dejan ustedes presionar?  Somos humanos. La enfermedad mental no tiene una base orgánica identificables, no tenemos escáneres, el diagnóstico es subjetivo y, por
